Farm Frenzy 3 – Fourth chapter in my favorite game!
I was *SO* excited to find out that the fourth chapter in the Farm Frenzy series had been released! (Remember, it may be Farm Frenzy “3″, but with Farm Frenzy Pizza Party thrown into the mix, that makes this the fourth game in the series… I hear they’re working on Farm Frenzy 4 already too!)
Miriel the Magical Merchant is possibly the best new time management game available
Miriel the Magical Merchant has some of the best graphics I’ve seen in a very long time. Rich, deep colors mixed with an anime art style really do give this game a “magical” atmosphere. I was pleasantly surprised to see how smoothly the game ran in full screen mode, even with these rich graphics. Very well done, indeed. My normal game source doesn’t offer this one, so I paid full price ($19.95) through PlayFirst. It’s THAT good.
Cake Mania 3 tips, tricks, and review
Without a doubt, this is the best sequel I’ve seen so far this year! (Cake Mania, and Cake Mania 2, in case you’ve missed them!) Unlike Cake Mania 2, this third installment in the series has really added a lot of extras that haven’t been seen before. There are mini games between every 5 or 6 levels, you get to choose the order in which you explore those levels (in a different way than the oh-so-confusing CM2 way!)… and so much more.
Yummy Drink Factory is an interactive dream!
I’ll warn you now, I’m addicted to this game. There are so many things to love about this game’s many options that I’m going to have to concentrate on keeping this post from turning into a book! This is a time management game at it’s core, based on a “fill the customer’s order within a reasonable time to keep them happy” theme. You play as Alex, a girl that takes a wrong turn into a magical forest, and stops at a coffee shop hoping to find help.
Relax while you enjoy your Fishdom screensaver
Fishdom is a match 3 game with a couple of added twists for fun. You play the match 3 portion of the game to gain money for buying fish to add to your aquarium, decorating the aquarium, and buying the essential items that keep your fish comfortable. You must keep your fish healthy and happy by making sure their desires and needs are met.
Fitness Frenzy is a time management mental workout
Fitness Frenzy isn’t just another “Diner Dash” type game, I think it’s more of a mental work out than that. Along with keeping your clients happy by supplying the “perfect work out” routing for them, you must maintain the equipment (cleaning off the sweat from used machines), and provide lessons on how to use the machines… all while providing motivation and encouragement. Planning the perfect workout routine is no joke either, you have to be able to remember which machines are best for certain health goals.
Nancy Drew’s latest adventure: The Phantom of Venice

Enchanted Cavern is a Match 3 with beautiful graphics
This game tries to make up for a lack of story line, or interactivity other than the matching groups with really cool graphics. Special effects during game play are better than most, and the progress between levels is a pretty cool reward for completing each puzzle. After playing the full version trial download, I can see that the bonus puzzles are probably the most challenging aspect of this game. I can also predict that they are the most frustrating.
Interactive summer fun with Etch-a-Sketch: Knobby’s Quest
Etch-a-Sketch: Knobby’s Quest is just the type of game that will help keep the summer time boredom away! This game offers many different modes of play that will keep the kids busy this summer, while school’s out. They can color their own sketches made with the virtual Etch-A-Sketch, or they can color pre-made line drawings provided by the game. If they want a copy of their masterpiece, they can print it out, or set it as the computer’s wallpaper!
Puzzle Hero is my newest favorite game
This game is similar to Puzzle Quest, but different in a lot of ways that make it easier, and more fun to play. Puzzle Hero takes you on a journey through magical lands to find your brother, who has been kidnapped by an evil wizard. Along the way, you’ll battle magical creatures and funny monsters. The really cool thing about this match 3 game is that you get to see the actual battles taking place, right above the match 3 board!
Elf Bowling: Hawaiian Vacation is no turkey
In this sequel, Santa’s naughty elves are at it again! After deciding that it’s time to take a break from making toys, they pack themselves off in crates to take a little holiday in beautiful Hawaii. First stop, a Hawaiian cruise ship! They terrorize the passengers and crew in true Elf style, until the Captain finds out and challenges them (you) to a bowling duel. Elf Bowling: Hawaiian Vacation does not disappoint… it’s full of great bowling simulations, plus a few surprises thrown in for fun.

Burger Rush combines match 3 with Diner casual games
Burger Rush is the first of it’s kind. A match 3 game that incorporates the “customer satisfaction” aspect of the popular “Diner” games. You may remember seeing games like Coffee Rush, but don’t be fooled, there are differences, and Burger Rush was the original. Burger Rush offers a nice break from the traditional match 3 game.
